Jaclyn K. Walsh (Dancer) began her training at Walker’s Dance in Lowell, Massachusetts, furthering her studies at the Walnut Hill School under the direction of Michael Owen. During this time, she performed in France and Germany, receiving the Bronze Medal in the Female Solo Division at the World Showdance Championship in Riesa. Under scholarship, she received her BFA in dance from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Here, she had the privilege to perform works by Susan Marshall and Ronald K. Brown. Her choreography has been presented at the 92nd St. Y Fridays at Noon series , Perceptions Contemporary Dance Festival, American Dance Guild Festival and Dancers Responding to Aids' Dancin' Downtown at the Joyce  in New York City. Her work has won her numerous awards and titles, including Headliner’s National Choreographer of the Year in 2009 and 2010. Ms. Walsh, along with her students, was featured in Dance Spirit and Dance Teacher Magazine. She had the privilege of performing with Keigwin and Company as a guest artist for their premiere solo season at the Joyce Theater in 2010. She recently performed her own solo work in Mayumi Kamata and Wes Veldink's Japan benefit show NYC FOR JPN, raising funds for CARE-WAVE. Jaclyn has also performed with Skybetter and Associates, Patricia Noworol Dance and KDNY, and is currently dancing for James Martin Music/Dance, Kristen Sudeikis and Brook Notary. She is so thrilled and thankful to be joining K+C again! Jaclyn currently resides in Manhattan, NY.
